Typical Sailing Event

This experience will typically start from the well known yachting village of Hamble, Hampshire. On arrival you will be greeted by your skipper, who will then provide a safety briefing and show you around the yacht(s) over a fresh coffee/tea and a continental breakfast.

Mid morning you will leave the marina and make you way down the river to The Solent. Here everyone will be involved in the fundamentals of sailing a yacht including; tacking, gibing, helming, hoisting and dropping the sails.

For your champagne lunch the yacht will anchor in a picturesque bay such as Osbourne or Newtown Creek.

The afternoon will can be spent cruising or racing your way back to Hamble.

Catering

A range of gourmet menu’s can be offered for the champagne lunch.

In addition, fresh food, tea coffee and bottled drinks will be available for the duration of the day. Most dietary requests are happily accommodated.
